The Portland Trail Blazers haven't had much luck against the Utah Jazz this season. But the Trail Blazers will seek to reverse that trend at the Rose Garden Sunday night prior to heading out on a five-game road trip. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Utah has already secured the season series for the first time since 2005-06 but virtue of winning the first three contests. The Jazz have won by an average of 13.4 points (110.7-97.3) in the three games, shooting 61.2% from the field (45.0% 3-PT) while limiting the Trail Blazers to 40.9% shooting (26.2% 3-PT) in the first three contests of the 2009-10 series.
Portland hopes the recent addition of Marcus Camby can help them avoid the sweep. The Blazers fell 96-76 to Boston on Friday, posting their lowest point total of the season and managing seven assists - tying a franchise low.
"Tonight was like having two new guys in the lineup with Marcus and bringing Brandon (Roy) back," coach Nate McMillan said. "We need to work on trying to get a rhythm and rotation to fit this team."
Sunday night's game can be seen locally on Comcast SportsNet Channel 37 with Mike Barrett and Mike Rice. The game will also be televised nationally on ESPN. Brian Wheeler and Antonio Harvey will have the radio call on 95.5 The Game and on all of the stations of the Trail Blazers Radio Network.
